My first portrait of Madrid here. It was took just after some rain, so the ground was wet and ready to do fancy things with the lights. I have some mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I like how the tree stands in that box in the center of the picture, while the buildings around seem a bit like slowly falling to the ground, as if the tree were stronger/wiser/smarter than buildings and us, those who build them. And on the other hand, as it was shot without flash, there are these diluted and continuous car lights at the left, and that blurred people passing by... and I'm not very happy about the distribution.
The post-processing was just to put contrast up, turns lights a bit down and cropping it to 2x1.
